Julie Marie Bogdanski

Julie Marie Ackley-Bogdanski, 54, passed away peacefully March 11, 2024 following a rapid illness. Born May 18, 1969 to Lawrence and Delores Ackley, happily married to Mike Bogdanski for the last 27 years. Julie loved the life that she had dreamed up through her creativity, energy and desire of being a successful entrepreneur. What started as a hobby, became a way of life when she took embroidery to a new level and in 2012 started Thelma’s Attic LLC. She gained a loyal following of people that appreciated her beautiful work, professionalism, and creative ideas. Julie and Mike spent the last 8 years deeply engrained in the vintage market circuit with her mobile boutique, quickly becoming a member of a whole new family. Julie loved the family gatherings at holidays, home projects, and visiting southern cities, with Savannah, Georgia where they planned to retire. Julie lived her life as if to make a bold impact during her short time, supporting and lifting others in both her personal and business life. Above all Julie gave her children a life full of love and support. Julie is survived by her husband Mike, sons James, Logan (Emilee), and Austin (Madison), daughter Cierra, and grandchildren Madison and Ethan.

    To Mike and your family,
It saddens us to hear the passing of Julie (15). We will treasure the fond memories we shared as band moms as well as vintage markets that we ventured out to as couples. Even though time passed and we saw each other less it was always nice catching up with you at a vintage market and seeing how far her business had come and how you were there contributing your talents to the business. Teamwork all the way! Julie had a kind heart and talent that will not soon be forgotten. We have many of her items that have and will continue to bring us joy. God bless you and your family as you learn to maneuver through this new normal. Take comfort in knowing she will be watching over you ALL! Until we all meet again, take care. The VanHaaren family.

  5. Much Love and support to you. I promise we will be there to help with anything we can. xoxo 💜

Thank you for being amazing and I know your going to continue on beng amazing and still be here for us all. I love you so much.
