Robert Wayne Pope

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Pope, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. While his departure brings sadness to those who knew him, his memory will forever be cherished.

Bob was a man who made an impact on everyone he met. His infectious smile and kind, gentle spirit drew people to him from all walks of life. He lived his life with a joy and enthusiasm that was contagious, and his love for the Lord and his fellow man was evident in everything he did.

One of Bob’s greatest passions in life was fishing and hunting. He loved being out in nature, surrounded by the beauty of creation, and his reverence for God’s handiwork was evident in the way he approached these activities. He was never one to take more than he needed from the earth, treating it with respect and care. His love of the outdoors brought him countless hours of joy and peace, and he was always eager to share that with others.

Perhaps the most enduring legacy Bob leaves behind is the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Whether it was through his kind words and gestures, his infectious laugh or simply his ever-present smile, he touched the hearts of many. His unwavering faith in Christ, and his commitment to sharing the gospel every chance he got inspired countless others to do the same, and his influence will be felt for generations to come.

Bob will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 51 years Judy Pope; children Stacy (Matthew) Filipkowski; grandchildren, Benjamin & Austin Filipkowski; sisters, Kendra (Dell) Ridley, Susan (Cliff) Smith, Karen (Don) Hall and a host of friends and acquaintances. But his memory will live on as a shining example of what it truly means to live a life of purpose, joy, and faith. Rest in peace, Bob and may your spirit continue to inspire us all. Until we meet again…
