Raymond W. Doriety, 68 Years Old, of Mount Clemens, MI, passed away on September 12, 2023 at McLaren Hospital in Mount Clemens, MI. Ray is survived by his son Raymond Doriety, wife April, and their children Madeline, Amelia, Tatum, and Nolan; and son Joseph Doriety, wife Caitlin, and their children Aiden, Addison, Alexander, and Averyanna; Mother Patricia Doriety of Vernon, NJ; his sister Donna Weatherwalks of Vernon, NJ; and sister Patricia Raperto of Warwick, NY. As well as many family members and friends in New Jersey and Michigan. Raymond is predeceased by his wife Priscilla, father Raymond J. Doriety of Vernon, NJ, and sister Diane Desilets of Algonac, MI.
Ray was a great father, brother, uncle, and son. He was a dedicated employee of Hi-Craft Engineering in Fraser, MI for 30 years, where he was a constant fixture of leadership and guidance. Ray was also a regular patron at Mangan’s Irish Hut, where he and his friends would enjoy some ball games and figure out life’s problems. Most of all Ray will be remembered for his smile and his gentle caring heart, a sense of humor that would make anyone laugh.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 12-2:00 at Gramer Funeral Home-Diener Chapel located at 49271 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby Township, MI 48317.  The memorial service will commence at 2:00 PM.

  1. Ray was an incredible person, very caring and kind hearted, with a humble nature. He could put a smile on your face, even when you may be having the worst of days.
    There will never be another person like him in this world. If you knew him, you loved him. He had such a wonderful personality.
    I’m blessed that he was my friend. I cherish and hold dear each moment and every memory spent with him. We always had good times. I never realized the good times would be too few.
    Ray is not gone, as I carry him in my heart loved forever.

  2. Ray was a very capable, resourceful, competent, reliable, and accountable leader. He was well loved and respected at Hi-Craft Enginering. He will be missed.
    The knowledge and experience he passed on to others will live on for a long time to come.

  7. Ray man there’s no other person in the world that I loved working for. Ray was there for me when my father passed away.
    Yeah Ray, was crabby person to work for at times but Ray was a person you could walk up to and talk about anything He was everybody’s friend. As I left hi craft I went to work for another company at the time I decided to go ans have a drink and there’s Ray I ordered my pizza as I was waiting for my bill I asked for my bill Hey phil Ray paid for it I was like what… I will never find another great person like Ray. My condolence to the family and yes he really loved his family specially his grand kids
