Merle ‘Lee” Sarah Spearman died July 14, 2016 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital at the age of 90. Lee died peacefully in her sleep due to repertory illness along with a heart condition.
Lee was proceeded by her beloved husband Charles Edward Spearman, April 12, 1992, as well as her beloved sons Allen Joseph Spearman August 31, 2011 and James Edward Spearman May 29,2008.
Lee is survived by her half sister Christine Peltier, daughter Patricia (Paul) Schram, son Timothy Spearman, and daughter Cindy (Gary) Dean and daughter-in-law, Nancy Spearman. She is also survived by grandchildren Donna Spearman, Kelly ( Donald) Robinson, Colleen Harris, Perry Schram, Patrick Schram, Paula Schram, James Edward Spearman Jr. and Christie (Joseph) Shelton. She has 19 great grandchildren, with 7 great, great, grandchildren along with 2 more on the way and 3 great, great, great grandchildren by marriage.
Lee, with her husband Charles were the owners of Shoreview Cabins in Fredrick, Michigan where they resided for many years. In her later years she moved to Gaylord, Michigan and then to Clinton Township, Michigan where she finished out the remainder of her years.
Lee belonged to the Lioness Club and Eagles Club in Gaylord. She loved her Lord, life, music, birds, traveling and bingo. Her greatest love was being surrounded by her family and friends.
Lee will be missed dearly by those she has left behind. A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Rochester Christian Church (Formerly Rochester First Assembly), 4435 N. Rochester Road, Rochester, MI 48306.
