Maudie Elisabeth Knowlton, age 82, a resident of Rochester, transitioned from this life on February 3, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Edward Knowlton, whom she married in Corning, Arkansas on February 2, 1962, and who preceded her in death. A devoted mother, she leaves behind Janet Knowlton and Thomas Knowlton Jr. (Kimberly) She was also a beloved grandmother to Thomas Knowlton III (Rebecca) and Stephanie
Baize (Nathan), and a cherished great-grandmother to Harrison Knowlton and Declan Baize. Maudie is survived by her brothers Bob Hathaway (Linda), David Watson (Linda) and Tom Watson (Sandy), as well a numerous nieces and nephews. Maudie loved her family and friends and was a member of First Church in Sterling Heights. Maudie had a servant’s heart and will be greatly missed by the many lives that she touched. A going home prayer to honor her, will be held on February 28, 2024 at 11:00 am at Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to First Church, located at 39400 Dequindre Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48310.
