Mario Antonio Palmieri

Mario Antonio Palmieri, Memphis, Michigan, passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 91.  Mario was born January 25, 1930 to parents Giuseppe and Romilda Palmieri in Gagliano Aterno, Italy.

Preceded in death by his wife Anita Louise Palmieri (Bednarz) and survived by his sister Lillian Perry, daughter Nina Anderson, son Michael and four grand children Roseanne Palmieri, Derek Anderson, Marianne Palmieri & Elise Anderson.

Mario’s career was in the Machine Tool and Facilities Engineering industries.  Mario graduated from Lawrence Institute of Technology and University of Detroit with degrees in both Engineering & Mathematics.   He was also a proud veteran of the Korean War enlisted Corporal G2.

A celebration mass of Mario’s life will be at Shrine of the Little Flower Church Royal Oak, MI followed by his internment is Roseland Park Cemetery.
