Marguerite Ruth Schoonfield

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Marguerite Ruth Schoonfield.
She passed away on Thursday April 21, 2022 at Troy Beaumont Hospital. She was 82. She died peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Marguerite (Marty) was born June 15, 1940 in Detroit, MI. She joined three loving sisters Mary, Shirley and Pat. Marguerite is survived by three loving sons: Jeff, Jon, and James. six grandchildren: Violet, Madison, Hayden, Connor, Jonny and Ella. Her lifetime friends Karen and Don Dodson. Her ex-husband Jan Schoonfield. Glen and Jeanette Schoonfield and their daughter Susan and her husband Dean Robinson. All of her Nieces and Nephews from the Stelma family, Brown family and the Sporer family. Plus her nursing friends over the years and all of her son’s friends who her house became the meeting place.
Her calling was to be a nurse and she did that for 40 years. The last 35 years was spent at St. Josephs Hospital as an ICU/CCU nurse. While there she met many friends that were very important to her. Marguerite was an animal lover and had many pets including two dog Greyhounds that she recused. Marguerite had tremendous will power and focus and read so many books she would buy them in bulk. She will be missed by everyone she touched during their lives. R.I.P. Marguerite Ruth Schoonfield.
