Lawrence William Blinke

Lawrence William Blinke of Warren, Michigan, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 26th, 2019 at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susan, daughter and son-in-law, Beth (Steve Zaccardelli), granddaughter Ava, sister Kathy and many loving family members and friends.
Larry was a veteran, serving in the Army from 1964 to 1966. He ran a family business, Blinke’s Market, with his mother Geraldine (and other family members) in Hamtramck for many years before moving into merchandising for retail.
He had a passion for helping others and loved animals. He loved music, muscle cars and was a huge Elvis fan, enjoying many books, photos and memorabilia of the great singer.
Family and friends loved him dearly and will miss him tremendously.
A celebration of life memorial will be held Friday, January 3rd, 2020 from 1pm-3pm at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, Clawson.
The family asks that in Lieu of flowers, a donation in Larry’s name be made to a veteran’s organization or animal shelter of your choice.

  6. My condolences to your family. I remember what a funny and happy guy larry was on your visits to my parents and going hunting with him and my dad on weekends even though we never caught anything ! Sad he is gone so young.
