Helen Fiuk

IN LOVING MEMORY, Helen passed peacefully on February 13, 2019, after a very full life. She will always be remembered as a rebel, a warrior, a strong advocate, and a woman full of passion and strong will.
She shared her unconditional love, wisdom, and guidance to many, and to especially her three daughters, Rosalie, Veronica, and Stephanie, and to her loving granddaughter Whitney.
Helen thrived though her love of music, singing, dancing at Luciano’s, and tending her magnificent garden at the senior apartment complex where she lived. She loved zebra stripe colors, Prince, and took pride in making the best sicilian style spaghetti and meat balls around. Driving and maintaining her shiny black PT Cruser, brought her endless joy which made her feel the way she felt best: free and independent.
A gathering of family and friends will celebrate her life on March 9, 2019. A Mass will be held at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, in Shelby Township, at 10:00 am, and a luncheon will take place at Luciano’s Italian Restaurant in Clinton Township, at noon. Notices of Helen’s Celebration of Life will be forthcoming to family and friends.
We wish Helen well on her sacred journey. She will never be forgotten by her loved ones.
