Condolence Messages

  1. I am very sad to hear the news about the passing of Eleanor “Ma Madajczyk”. When I heard the news, my eyes filled instantly with tears, and I immediately felt that strange feeling in the pit of my stomach; the one you get when you lose someone special. Ma was loved by all who knew her. She had an especially kind heart, a very loving soul, and no problem ever telling you what was on her mind! Not sure if Ma ever knew how many hearts she touched, or lives she enhanced (you can add mine to that long list). Even if she did realize it, she was way too humble to talk about it. In the 57 years I’ve known her, she has always had a special place in my heart. Ma was so kind to me and to my family. She gave and gave without asking anything in return. That’s just who she was. I have so many kind and fond memories of Ma and Art that I could go on for hours. I saw Ma at the fruit market several years ago. She looked very much the same as I remembered her. It was so nice seeing her. We stood there gabbing like a couple of old Stata Babas for over a half hour! I will always remember her kindness and her contagious laugh; and she will always hold a very special place in my heart! I love you Ma, and thank you so much for everything you did…you made a wonderful difference in my life… My heartfelt and deepest condolences to all the family! God bless you all…
    Sincerely,
    Dan Taub

Aunt Eleanor holds a special place in my heart. Growing up I spent many summers in her care. She was a kind, loving person. So very sadden to hear about her passing. Very glad that I spent an afternoon lunch with her and Karen before Covid took over. Fond memories of her will remain in my heart.
