Dolores Barbara Pare’

“Dolly” lost her battle with dementia and went home to the Lord on 7/2/2020. She was born in 1931 in Detroit to John and Victoria Adams. Dolly is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Judd (Stephen) and Carrie Vel (Sam Berry), her 3 grandchildren, Cameron Berry, Brooke Corey, and Samantha Berry. She was predeceased by her spouse, Lorne Pare’, daughter, Pamela Vel, and her first husband, Frank Vel. Dolly enjoyed spending time with her friends, hosting parties and shopping. She loved to decorate, go out to dinner, and her beloved “cold duck”. Dolly was the epitome of class. This was her favorite quote: “We’re not here for a long time, we’re here for a good time.” Rest in peace Dolly.

My kids are coming in with precious memories galore. Our families were very close at times & memories most pleasant. Every get-together was a party. Fun abounded! Yes she could put the “Merry” in Band! Love & prayers for the family.

    • We are so sorry to hear the passing of Dolly…she will be missed so much. Dolly was a wonderful loving, kind, fun, sweet lady we will hold in our hearts forever. Our family enjoyed spending time and making wonderful memories with her at PR. Mom will miss her partner of Bingos, crafts, Wine Wednesdays, parties, rocking chair chats, etc. but just being their knowing they comforted each other when no words were said. Peace to her and your family! Our sincere sympathy… Isabelle Nieman and Family.

      • Thank you so much for your kind words and the flowers while she was ill. I’m glad that they got to chat one last time. It seems like it went so fast. It was just a shock. Take care of your Mom, Carrie & Kim
