Dennis J. Koski Sr.

Dennis Jon Koski Sr., a resident of Sterling Heights passed away peacefully on April 18, 2023, at the age of 87. Dennis was married to his wife Deanna for 65 years loving. Predeceased by his parents Arvid and Eleanor Koski, Brother Alvin (Al) and his oldest son, Dennis II. Loving father to Devin (Tina) and Derek. Cherished Grandfather of Matthew, Joshua, Brittany, Kendra and Kyle.

Dennis graduated from Madison High School in 1955. He played Varsity Baseball, Football and Basketball. He later enlisted in the Air Force and was Honorable Discharged in 1960. During his enlistment he was stationed in Germany, and Iceland. After he started working at Ford Motor Company, Mt. Clemens Paint and Vinyl Plant. He held multiple positions, but his favorite was working as UAW Local 400 EI Facilitator holding employee training and retired with 35 years’ service.

He was an avid golfer, enjoyed camping with his family, and spending summer weekends Boating on Lake St. Clair and then transiting to a Higgins Lake cabin. During Deer Hunting seasons he was the cook while son DJ hunted.

He belonged to the Blue Lodge in Warren, Moslem Shriners – Past Director of Legion of Honor, worked Shrine Circus and marched/drove his 1987 Mustang in multiple parades. Dennis was a Member of the American Legion Post 326 Lifetime Member.

The Memorial Service will be at Hope Lutheran Church, 32400 Hoover Rd. Warren, Saturday April 29. Visitation at 10:00am with the Service starting at 11:00am. Immediately following the funeral service, a luncheon at Hope Lutheran Church will be held in his honor.
