Richard Lee Johnson, loving father of Amelia, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend passed peacefully from this life on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the age of 45 surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his parents, Gaylor and Donna Johnson, his daughter, Amelia, and his sister, Stacey.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Gay “Richard” Hom and Mamie Johnson; Dewey and Lois Addington, Uncles, Michael Addington, Emmitte Meade, James Addington, Jimmy Gibson, and Peter Casanova.
Richard’s indomitable spirit made him a friend to everyone he met.
He will be lovingly remembered by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and numerous friends.
“As we mourn our loss, our other family members are smiling with open arms, welcoming him home.”
A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church at 12PM; 3851 Prescott St, Hamtramck, MI, with a lunch reception to follow.
