It is with great sadness that the family of Eddie Whisnant announces his passing after a long battle with Covid-19. Eddie was born on December 17th 1953 and went to be with our Lord on May 6th 2020. Eddie is survived by his Loving Wife and Best Friend of 21 years, Donna Whisnant. He was a loving father of 2 sons, Eric and Aaron (Malinda) and 3 daughters, Rachel (Matt), Amanda and Valerie (Kevin). He was also a loving Papa to 10 grandchildren. Eddie was predeceased by his beloved parents Paul and Beatrice Whisnant and sister Linda Wood. Left to cherish his memory are his brother Paul Gene Whisnant and brother-in-law Paul Wood. Eddie was a simple man who loved his family dearly. He will truly be missed by all of his family, friends and co-workers. Eddie was a wonderful man who was larger than life and that’s the reason so many of us called him Big Guy. Donna will plan a celebration of life in honor of Eddie when the Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted for his many family and friends.
