David Byrd, age 67 of Sterling Heights passed away December 25,2023 at Troy Beaumont Hospital.
David was the beloved husband of the late Rose Byrd and the loving father of Amanda Byrd. He was the dearest son of the late Arthur and the late Dorothy Byrd. Brother of: James (Muffet) Byrd; Alan (Ann) Byrd; and Kristin Cammarata (Patrick Novak). Loving Uncle to: Laura, Kelly, Erin, Kyle, Kevin and the late Christopher Cammarata.
Dave loved his daughter to the moon and back and always advocated for people with special needs. He strived to put a smile on others faces as well as to keep ‘em laughing. He enjoyed staying in touch with friends via Face Book. He always loved a good meal at the GC. (Golden Corral). And many meals were taken as a personal challenge to see how much food he could knock down. He won many times.
He had many obstacles to overcome when Rose passed away but took every challenge in stride, taking it day by day. May you rest in peace.
