Sylvia Lucille Pfromm

Sylvia Lucille Pfromm was born on November 19th, 1940 and died unexpectedly of a heart attack on July 20th, 2018. She was born in Detroit, Michigan to Willard Mordecai and Mildred Isabelle (Lewis) Schenkel, who precede her in death. She leaves behind her children, Carole (Kenneth) Sharrow, Kimberley, and Todd (Jane) Pfromm. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and her memory will live on in the hearts of Michael (Jami), Matthew, Kenneth, Mark, Nicholas (Caroline), Todd Jr., Megan (Christian) and Luke, as well as with her great-grandchildren, Hallie, Lucia, Paul, and Christian. Sylvia worked many jobs throughout her life and retired from Sparks and Sommers Home Improvement where she had been a secretary for 40 years. She found comfort and fellowship with the brothers and sisters of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and spent the later years of her life in the service of Jehovah after being shown her faith by her sister-in-law and best friend, Darlene Nicke. Sylvia loved taking trips, gathering as many of her grandchildren as she could pile into her suburban to caravan off to Florida to visit Disney World, or up north to Harbor Beach to enjoy Michigan’s Great Lakes. The only thing she loved more than packing her camper full of grandchildren was holding babies, and she was fortunate to have held many during her 77 years on this planet, including her own great-grandchildren, whom she adored. A Memorial service will be held Sunday the 29th at 3pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 16675 Frazho Rd, Roseville, MI 48066. Miss Lucy, we miss you already.
