Judith Ann Sand

It is with an unmeasurable sadness in our hearts that we, the family of Judith Ann Sand, announce her passing on December 30, 2020. Better known by family and friends as Judy, her beautiful soul entered this world on May 9, 1955.
Judy is survived by her husband, Philip Anthony Sand; daughter, Mackenzie Mary Sand and son, Nicholas Alexander Sand. She was an adoring grandmother to Gabriel Alexander Morlock (11) and Logan Angelo Morlock (10). We could not forget her two fur-babies, dogs Ripley and Dallas.
Judy was the family rock and loved fiercely. She gave 200% to everything and everyone around her. She was an avid NFL fan and everyone knew her favorite team since childhood was her Minnesota Vikings. Her true passion was helping animals. If you asked her what her dream retirement scenario would be, she’d be quick to respond, “Owning property and running a dog rescue, with unlimited space, of course.” Her heart belonged to every dog in need and if you were friends with her on Facebook, you would see that by her newsfeed.
At the request of the family, there will be no formal funeral service because if you knew Judy, you also knew how she disliked funerals and did not want a fuss made over her. However, to honor Judy’s legacy and passion for dog rescues, particularly MisFit Angels Dog Rescue, we ask that donations be made under her name (Judy Sand) in lieu of flowers.
