Donald Erwin Wright, 63, died at his home in Novi, Michigan on Saturday May 12, 2018. He was born on December 2, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Richard Erwin Wright and the late Patricia Ann (Millman) Wright.
Donald or “Big Don” as many people called him is survived by his son, Donald Erwin Wright and spouse Fran Zoldos. He is also survived by, 3 sisters (one deceased) and 2 brothers. He also leaves behind 3 stepchildren, 7 grandchildren, & 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial will be held for Donald on June 2nd from 1pm-6pm at Oakland Glens Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, 41875 Carousel, Novi, Mi 48377.

I am so sorry for your loss, “Little” Donnie, and Fran. “Big” Don was a special friend to Terry and I when we lived across the street. Perhaps he can keep Terry in line up in heaven, because the Lord only knows, no one else could. My prayers are with you and your entire family. Ya’ll are welcome to visit me the Upper Peninsula anytime to enjoy some of the fishing and/or hunting up here.

He was “Big Uncle Don” and “Big Grandpa Don” to my nieces and nephew and always ready to gift them with money and a hug whenever he got to see them. He was my father- in-law, my best friend, my partner in crime (which gave Donnie and Fran a few extra gray hairs, no doubt!) He taught me how to play the lottery and introduced me to “the Track”. He and Fran were the parents that understood me when I felt my own didn’t. Big Don even used one of his “9 lives” to save mine… there isn’t enough time and room for me to express how much Don meant to me and my family… and how much Donnie and Fran still do. Old man, I don’t know if I ever told you, but…I love you. R.I.P. Nah, give ’em all hell in heaven, too! See you later!
