Heaven gained another soul on Tuesday when Dave Licari left this Earth and those he loved behind to begin a new adventure.
David Allen Licari entered this world on May 27th, 1952 in Birmingham MI and left this world in Troy, MI on November 16th, 2021. Dave was the son of Frank and Doris (both deceased): Brother of Ken and Ron: Husband of 26 years to Michelle: Father of Melissa (Robert) Metivier: Grandfather to Garrett: Beloved honorary member of the Kwapis family.
Dave spent his formative years and most of his life, living and working in the greater Utica area. Dave left the area to serve in the Navy and returned to take a job with Ford Motor company, where he worked for 34 years. After retirement Dave continued to support the community he loved by driving a school bus, a job he derived great joy from.
Dave was always a bit of a gearhead, owning and operating a variety of toys from boats, snowmobiles, and classic cars to a lifelong interest in motorcycles. He shared his passion with others by being a member of the Great Lakes Southeast Michigan Harley Owners Groups and currently a member of the Great Lakes Southeast Michigan Riding Club. Dave enjoyed traveling with his wife and friends usually behind the handlebars of his Harley.
Dave will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial services have not been arranged at this time.
