It is with heavy hearts the family of Barbara Elaine Stroup announce her passing.
Barbara loved life and she enjoyed so many of life’s little pleasures. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and crocheting. She loved taking tailor rides with her family along quiet and wildlife filled country roads and also an occasional river canoe trip. Mostly she loved her family … her husband of 56 years, Thomas, her children, Thomas, Jr and daughter in law, Kathy, daughter, Kathryn, and daughter Carolyn and son in law, Keith, her grandchildren, Andrew, Brett and Samantha, and Adam and Elizabeth, her great grandchildren, Justin, Lucas, and Remy. She also is survived by loving sisters and brothers, and many, many extended family members.
Though she was loved deeply here, God had a greater plan for her and needed his Angel to come home. She will be forever loved, and forever missed.

She took me in as family without hesitation and gave me a grandmother when I had lost mine. I love her and will miss her immensely.
